Woah! 1,667 once a day for seventeen days is 28,333 words! Wow, almost 30k!
But huh, when I check my real word count, I only have 23,700words....
Poop, more then 4,000 words need to be written today.
Oh, and Annie, I did your dare! Eragon hypocrisy dare completed!
I also have a dare for myself, I will include this man:
In today's writing, or soon, anyway.
Happy Birthday Lee!

Day 12
Wow! I am twelve days into my NaNoWriMo adventure! I should be at 19,992words today, but I am only at 17,000 (and that's with the 1,000 I already wrote today). Eeep!
But I have some of my brother's Halloween candy, and an optimistic spirit. I hope I at least retain the latter through the next thousand words.
Sorry for not updating, Annie!
Here is a shout out to you for waiting:
I love you sis!

Day five, 700words behind!
Oh CRAP! I didn't get to write at all yesterday! Thankfully, I was already ahead, so instead of needing to write an extra 1,666 I just have to write an extra 700. Today I'm trying to hit 8,800. Luckily, I am right in the middle of a very exciting part, so it won't be too hard to catch up. Wish me luck!

11/3/11 Day 3
Hellooo, gang!
I am about to start my second word sprint for today. I already reached the 5,100w mark, but I'd like a word buffer for when things start to get harder.
No excerpt yet, maybe later.

Day 2.
Wow! I wrote for two hours last night, trying my hardest not to procrastinate.
Here is a excerpt:
Hmm, that was longer then I thought. Anyways, that is the very beginning. I'm off to start writing again. More later!
Here is a excerpt:
Lane leaned against the dented mailbox, absently chewing on her lip in a nervous sort of way. The color yellow stretched around her like a quilt, the orange of the house behind her faded into the rust red of the barn, wheat waved around her, the flat ground making you want to pull away. As you zoom away, the frame of your vision growing, the yellow of the tips of the wheat continues out unbelievably far, the flat, unchanging coat ripples, broken only by the brown road that she stared down, waiting.
She started from her stupor as the dust of a truck coming down the road showed her that her order was here. Lane yanked a stray hair from her face and tucked it behind one ear, she stood straight, and waved at the driver. Her shockingly blue overalls broke the yellow haze, and she looked strangely out of place for a born-and-bred Strouter. The truck pulled up, and Lane leaned in the passenger window,
“You want me to drive up to the house? It'll be easier to unload.” The older man was her uncle, and she smiled, and opened the door.
“Yeah, that would be great. It might be hard with only the two of us.” She hopped into the seat, which smelled like it always did, of dogs and herbs, reminding her of all the times she had sat in that very seat as a toddler. “I need it in the second barn actually so we could just pull up there.” the rumble of the engine was loud, but her uncles voice was used to talking over the sound, and as they pulled past the first barn, he said
“The second barn? I thought you two had stopped using it.”
“Well, with only us we didn't need it for farming, but I've been using it on my own a bit.”
Hmm, that was longer then I thought. Anyways, that is the very beginning. I'm off to start writing again. More later!

NOVEMBER 1st!
Holy Jesus @#$%&*# Christ! THIS IS IT!
1,666 words by tonight. 1,666 words every day for the next 30 days!
I don't know about you, my unmentioned friends who are also doing NaNoWriMo, or better be (you know I'm thinking of you Mr. Carter), but I like to actually do about 1,666 words a day (I really try for 1,700, because I like the number better). I don't often have 5,000 word day, and I don't think I've ever skipped a NaNo day (knock on wood).
Anyways, I really should be writing towards my word count, rather then procrastinating here. Hmmm, I hate starting.
Wish me luck!

My Angel
You know what I just decided? One of my characters is going to be the guardian angel of my MC, he is going to be named Jayden and he is going to be slightly different from other guardian angels, the difference is that he is only erratically helpful, and shockingly violent. Ha.
I might just keep him around forever, he is the bomb.

12 days!
Wow! Only twelve days until the insane typing and chaos take effect! Wow, I cannot believe how close November is!
What am I going to do until then? Make myself a NaNoWriMo survival pack.
What will be in it you ask? I have no idea. Lots of candy! And maybe some NaNo stickers I got last year....
I might make some for the other NaNoWriMee's that I know.
I'll post photos when the 50,000 word survival pack is ready!
Particularly, by the by, is my favorite word today.

Merit Badges
Do you know what I want? What I think is the tip-top of all awesomeness? Merit badges. NaNoWRiMo is selling them, and you get them if you compleate different NaNo-themed tasks. For instance, sneaking in some words while at work or school. Here is the link: nanowrimo-merit-badge-buttons
Does anyone have a button making machine? I would totally make them myself. Just leave a comment if you have any ideas for what I could use instead.
Thanks!
Comments not working?
To all you who have asked me how to comment, or complained it wasn't working, here's the deal.
I FIXED IT! Ha ha! Tech savvy person that I am, I have now allowed anonymous comments! So you don't have to sign in to anything!
Now there is no excuse not to give me feedback, so go on, you know you want to, comment!
And here is your little bit of goodness for today:

I triple dog dare you!
Alright folks. I dare you to dare me.
Take some time to come up with good dares, funny lines, or random characters, I will complete EVERY DARE.
So, you think it would be funny if Harry Potter raced through one scene with no explanation? Dare me.
So you think a giant stuffed bunny should be giving the MC (main character), a pep talk? Dare me.
Do you think that one character should have only one giant eyeball? Dare me.
You think I need to include the line "Luke I am your father." Dare me.
So you think that all Altoids' tins should have the ability to speak? Dare me.
I think you get the idea. So come November, I'll be looking to you folks to spice it up a bit!

NaNoWriMo!!! Brotherhood 2.0
I love this guy.
By the way, being a ceramicist, I like the clay metaphor.
November!
Hellllloooo again, It's me! I cannot wait until November! (I have even typed it so many times that it doesn't look like a word!) So I have been typing a random assortment of things NaNo related into my search bar and looking at what shows up. One of the things I found was this video. Which I now love.
Look one post up to see it!

This is it! November is closing in.
Hello and howdy!
On the off chance that you don't know me, my name is Emily. I have finished two 50,000 word novels in the past two years. And, oh yeah, I'm only sixteen. HA!
I will not show anyone my two previous attempts, because, frankly, they are godawful (yes, as one word).
HOWEVER, because of my friends attempts to force me to let them read my books, I am starting this blog. Beginning in November I will be posting everyday, with my favorite sentence, paragraph, or scene I wrote that day.
I will also post anything random I find while procrastinating online.
I would love threats if I don't finish, or rewards if I do, I am going to need the motivation!
I will post to keep you posted, all I ask is for millions of comments.
-Emily
Oh, and here is the link to NaNoWriMo, for those of you who haven't already checked it out.
